Exactly what my girls needed. I got all three - basketball, soccer and volleyball. It's really helping with their ball control skills in all three sports.
My 12-year-old nephew loves to bounce the basketball in the house its so loud! This one is a million times better thank you! The only sucky part was blowing it up lol. but that's me being nitpicky. Great ball for moms who dont like to hear the loud thumping!
This is one impressive ball that feels nice move good and fun to play with. It’s got a cool look and it’s not loud on the front when bounced. It’s a very good value and would make a very good gift for kids. Great in door ball!
This is definitely quieter and softer than a normal basket ball and it's a nice size for a kid and I honestly like the size myself. When I inflated it it wasn't completely round, but maybe the slight bump will get worked out with use
This is a very nice basketball. Keep in mind that it is a little smaller than the women’s official size but is great for a younger child. It has held air very well and I’ve not had to refill it since the first time (about 2 weeks ago).
It is softer than a traditional basketball and can be used in the house. Just make sure there are no breakables nearby and you’re good to go.
The cover is fairly slick and doesn’t have the “tacky†feel of a traditional ball. So, I wouldn’t use this to teach kids how to shoot. However, because you lose a little of the grip compared to a traditional ball, I can see the benefit of them using this to learn to dribble. If you can learn how to effectively dribble this, dribbling a traditional ball will be much easier. Meaning, I think training with this will help with ball control when they eventually play with a traditional ball.
All in all, it does its job…which is to introduce kids to the game of basketball.
